Uptime	With a large and accessible tank, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) can be conveniently filled when refuelling. Ash-service intervals for the diesel particulate filter (DPF) are condition based, with the machine notifying the operator before service is required. Typically, ash service is not necessary until the first engine overhaul depending on machine application and maintenance practices. Large fuel tank and 500- and 5,000-hour engine and hydraulic oil-service intervals decrease downtime for routine maintenance compared to models with shorter-hour service requirements. Fluid-level sight gauges are conveniently located and can be checked at a glance. Auto-idle automatically reduces engine speed to as low as 800 rpm when hydraulics are not in use. Auto-shutdown further conserves precious fuel and machine hours. Vertical spin-on fuel and engine oil filters are positioned in the right rear compartment for simplified ground-level servicing.
